One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time.
The Boy Scouts of America relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
For many years, Cub Scout Pack 887 has offered a wide variety of enjoyable and educational scouting activities. When the whole family is involved, these experiences are more meaningful for your Cub Scout.
Consider volunteering as a member of the pack leadership team or as a parent helper. Volunteer leaders are an example of Scouting’s principle of service to others. By volunteering you are giving your child the gift of your time. What could be more valuable than that? You will have the chance to be a positive influence in the life of your child and their friends.
To these volunteers we would like to say thank you for your dedication to Scouting.
And, to adults who are not currently Scout volunteers, we invite you to become a volunteer and share in the positive experiences of the Scouting program.
To get started, please complete the following forms: Family Talent Survey, Parental Commitment Form.
